Orbit 5 DEVLOG #1

welcome to the second devlog for orbit 5

its been 37 days since the last one, so I might not do any more because I'm not even sure if a single person ever reads them, but anyway...

the results for the first playtest I launched on the 1st of December weren't that good, mainly because of the many bugs and lack of new user friendliness that stopped it reaching its full potential. Also barely any of the playtesters actually did the playtest (probably because gamers don't bother reading their emails, noted that I should use discord or something like that next time) and I am really beginning to lose motivation. That motivation is not helped also by the fact that I actually sat down a couple days ago and made a prototype of a game that presses all my buttons (no, I'm not going to show any footage of it because I have learnt that releasing your game to the public before it is barely ready is never a good idea).

<--  the no. 1 thing on the orbit 5 trello list

If you are a playtester reading this, I have 2 things I want you to do:

1.) Playtest Orbit 5 and read your emails

2.) Give me some motivation cause I really need some and not finishing this game would make me insane

also I should probably actually start doing devlogs if I want to keep posting cause this aint no devlog

motivation when it comes to games is one of (if not the) most important factor of indie game development
